Diego's obituary
In his younger years, Diego proudly owned and managed a beloved clam stand in Buffalo, a venture he spoke of fondly throughout his life. He went on to dedicate over 40 years to Niagara Mohawk, where his hard work and dedication left a lasting legacy. A man of many passions, Diego was a proud member of the Rotary Club, a former avid golfer, and a great admirer of classical and jazz music. He had an adventurous spirit, finding joy in hot air ballooning, traveling, and capturing life’s beauty through photography. He played the piano, went ballroom dancing with his wife Lynda, and enjoyed watching football. Above all else, Diego cherished his family, always placing them at the center of his life. His kindness, wisdom, and love will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Diego was predeceased by his son, Salvatore Neri; daughter, Teresa Neri; grandson, Peter Neri; first wife, Concetta; and brothers, Joseph and Charles.
There will be a Celebration of Diego's life on Sunday, June 1st at 2pm. It will be at Church of the Resurrection in Blue Springs at 601 NE Jefferson St, Blue Springs, MO 64014. Anyone can share their fondest memories of Diego during the gathering.
