Diary Unspoken Truth's obituary

Diary, 38, of New York, NY passed away unexpectedly after battling a long fight with Medical and Mental Health issues. Diary aka Jose Antonio Figueroa Jr. was born on June 7, 1984 to Jose and Alisa Figueroa in New York City. During her teen years Diary attended Barnard College and Liberty Partnership Program where she volunteered working with the homeless and even visiting and doing volunteer work in Thailand.  After graduating from City As High School in 2002, Diary attended American Intercontinental University in London, UK with a focus in Fashion.

Diary leaves behind her beloved mother and father Alisa and Jose Figueroa who have been there for her from the time she arrived into this world as Jose Jr. to the day of her demise,  sister Anaylisa Ortiz-Padilla (Nicholas Sr.) and her nephews Nicholas Jr. and Christopher. Grandmother Marva Robinson-Davis and Grandfather Ralph Chestnut, Uncle Darrell Robinson and Aunt(s) Barbara Royal (Her Children Iaisha (Jaiyana), Javana, Aniya, Emanique and Torey; Rafaela Chestnut (Deondray) (Ramel, Savion & Deondray Jr.); Coretta Livingston (Lavasia); LaDonda Campbell (her children); Esperanza aka Panchy (her children and grandchildren); Great Aunt Ida (her children and grandchildren)  and host of other cousins, friends and extended family members from childhood. Diary also will now join her loved ones who have passed in the years in which she always loved and remembered. Her wish was to be laid to rest with her grandmother "Tata" and the family has made plans for that to be done.

Paris Diary was proud to be a part of the LGBTQIA+  community family and Paris-Diary Unspoken Truth wanted the world to know she was the Unspoken Truth. She loved music and always has head phones in her ears, most likely listening to Beyoncé or Nikki Minaj. She was an active participant in Callen-Lorde and other organizations. The family would like to thank Jevon Martin, Diary's father in the community and LGBTQIA+,  who has been following/mentoring and guiding Diary and the family even after her demise.

LAST WILL

written by: Alisa Figueroa (Mom)

I have no materialistic items leave behind, I have my great smile, laugh and legendary personalityto remember me by. I am tired now. Constantly always on the go, only my loved ones know. I will leave you by saying I did show the world I was the scars and beauty of Diary Unspoken Truth.  It's my everlasting nap time now. My early calling is over now. I'm at peace and rest now. My spirit and unspoken truth will live on through the memories of my loved ones.
