Dianne and I were friends in our early elementary ; Jr. high and high school years. Even sang  in the church choir together.  I would love it if someone in her family could contact me . We recently had our North high  55th reunion and that’s when I found out she had passed. I have a lot of stories to tell . She was the best!! 💕

Jo Ann (Wilson) Poole

We ALL called her Mama because that’s what she was for all of us: she was like a second mother. Always welcoming us into her home as if we were one of her own. Whether it was warmed towels awaiting us beside the hot tub or a full blown Greek dinner after a study session, Her hospitality and generosity knew no bounds. Her kindness and delightfully witty humor will always stick in my mind. Hard to believe she is gone! Sending my Love to you Eva and the rest of your family!! I’ll miss you Mama!!
This is a beautiful tribute to Mama. So many wonderful pictures and memories. My condolences to you Eva and Joanne.

Some fond memories that I have of Dianne were back in 1982 when I was 18 years old.. Dianne and Andy welcomed me to their home in Frankfurt, Germany when I was spending my first Christmas away from Omaha while serving in the U.S. Army.

Dianne took me to the Frankfurt Christmas Festival, introduced me to some of their German friends, taught me several German customs and phrases, and took me to a German Bier Hall where I had a huge Bavarian Pretzel and some German beer. It was a very fascinating experience to me, as I had only been in Germany for about 3 weeks prior to visiting them. The loving kindness that was shown to me by Dianne and Andy are memories that I will never forget.

May Dianne rest in peace.❤
I am very sorry to hear of Dianne's passing. May she rest in peace. My heart and prayers are with the family. Please accept my condolences.
Sharing a memory...

When I was a little dude, Aunt Dianne had two nicknames for me. One was "Banana Man"...due to an inordinate amount of bananas my mom had me eating in an effort to forestall my knock kneed condition.

The other was "Bilbo Baggins". I have no clue why she would've given me that nickname. I assume I reminded her of a hobbit? But as a kid, I had no clue who or what a "Bilbo Baggins" was. That was until somewhere around my 13th birthday when Aunt Dianne gifted me a series of books by Mr. Tolkien. Then it all made sense...at least where the nickname came from. But thanks to this memory, to me, whenever I watch one of the related movies or the subject of the Lord of the Rings comes up, I can't help but think of my Aunt Dianne.
Beautiful soul really a full rainbow loved sharing life with you till we meet again I'll remember you! Aloha
