Diann's obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diann Etheridge, a beloved wife, community servant, and animal lover. Born October 10, 1948, Diann was proud to be a native Dallas-ite. She departed this world on December 19, 2025, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of those she touched.
Diann was known and appreciated for her warm and caring nature. Her compassion was evident in her readiness to forgive and help others. She was a devoted Christian, often relying on her faith to guide her through life's challenges. Family and friends remember her nurturing spirit, and her ability to brighten the room with her presence.
A dedicated public servant, Diann retired after a commendable 30-year tenure as a 911 dispatcher with the City of Richardson. Her calming voice and reassuring words were a beacon of hope for many who found themselves in terrifying situations. Diann took great pride in her work, and the impact she made on countless lives is truly immeasurable.
Diann's kindness extended beyond her professional duties. She shared an exceptional bond with her cats, whom she considered part of her family. Their companionship brought her immense joy, and they will miss their mama.
She is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Randy Etheridge. Their bond was a testament to their enduring love and the power of forgiveness. Randy's loss is immense, but he cherishes the time spent with Diann and honors her memory every day.
