Diane Kay Simmons (née Sheppard), of Dallas, NC, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, March 22nd, at 8:45 p.m., surrounded by loved ones.
Diane was the cornerstone of her family. She was loved by friends and family alike. She wore many hats—mother, sister, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend— And she wore then on her own terms. A large part of her life was her work at Sunrise restaurant. …
