Diane's obituary
Diane Alane (Migliore) Carnacchi passed away on August 19, 2024. She was born August 7, 1943 (81) in Detroit, Michigan and married her high school sweetheart, Thomas Carnacchi. They were best friends and business partners until his death in 2005.
With a dream of moving to sunny Florida, Diane and Tom, with three kids in tow, moved to the Sarasota area in 1982, where they were both prominent business owners and pillars of the community.
As a young girl, Diane always knew she wanted to be a hairstylist, and she did just that for more than 60 years. Over the years, she built three salons, grew a base of faithful clients and cherished life-long friends.
She will be remembered for a myriad of things, including her open-armed hospitality, her wit and the accompanying laugh she freely shared, her fervent love for her family, for reading, for card games around the table after dinners, crossword puzzles, binge-watching tv shows, trips to the theater and her passion for travel.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Edna Migliore and her husband Thomas Michael Carnacchi. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Penchoff (Mike), her three children Michele Allen (Richard), Christine Craig (Timothy), Matthew Carnacchi (Stacey), grandchildren Alexandra Vallely, Michael Allen, Ashley Grace, Thomas Maxwell Craig, Paige Craig, Brent Almeida, Adison Koh, Sabatino Carnacchi, and 4 great grandchildren.
