Your Mom, Christine, was such a help to me. She did so many repairs, especially adding new elastic to all of my little girls' dresses so the next daughters could wear them. I have yet to find anyone who can now replace the elastic for the granddaughters. Also, just last night I shared the story again of your mother's thumbnails, how she used them like screwdrivers, manipulating zippers. She was just amazing at her job. She was great to my family and me. I would always say, "Put it in the bag for the sewing lady." My kids recall walking up the steep stairs to her "office." May she be with God at the banquet table in heaven. God bless you and yours.
So sad...i found this when i thought about calling her 4 a sewing question. She used 2 fix dog toys (& clothes) 4 me. She thought me crazy 2 pay 4 dog toys 2 b stitched, lol. What became of her bunny? I was a long time customer @Batavia & her home @North Aurora.
