Diane's obituary

Clifton Park, NY.

Diane L. Digges, age 67, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday July 23, 2024.

Born in Hackensack, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Robert Benno and Ruth Dorothy (Zittema) Rohl.

Diane is survived by the love of her life, David Lawrence Digges, and her four sons, David Jacob Digges, Michael Lawrence Digges, Jesse Ryan (Rachelle) Digges and Kevin Robert Digges. She is also survived by her two brothers and two sisters, Robert (Janice) Rohl, Sharon (Daniel) Moore, Joyce Rohl, and John (Lisa) Rohl. She is also survived by five grandchildren, Sarah Baumann-Digges, Hadassah Digges, Bethany Digges, Jadon Digges and Caleb Digges.

Diane is survived by her mother-in law Leona Prol Digges. She was predeceased by her father-in-law William Edward Digges Jr. She is also survived by her husband's siblings, William (Laura) Digges III, Robert Digges, Thomas (Nina) Digges, Melanie (John) Braunius, Janna (Kevin) Bacon and Anne (Glenn) Posca.

Diane Graduated Class of 1976 from Cobleskill High School. She and her husband came to know the Lord together in 1975. After eleven years of growing and learning how they wanted to serve in ministry together, Dave and Diane moved to Yorktown Heights, NY in 1986 to pastor a congregation together. In 1994 they moved to Latham, NY to pastor another congregation where they served until 2006. Diane did missions work that included travel with her husband to places like Brazil, South Africa, Kenya, Israel, Jordan, and Venezuela. She enjoyed experiencing new cultures and places throughout her life.

Diane was the founder and owner Finishing Touch Enterprises, and cared deeply for all of her clients.

Diane loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends. She gave love and joy generously to everyone who crossed her path. Her home was open to everyone who received gracious care, food and love.

Calling hours will be held on Monday July 29, 2024, from 5:00-7:00pm at the Catricala Funeral Home, 1597 Rt. 9 Clifton Park, NY. Burial will take place on Tuesday July 30, 2024, at the Oakwood Cemetery in Troy, NY at 9:00am. A memorial service and reception will be held immediately following at the Light of the World Church in Latham, NY at 10:00am.
