This was my mother, she was not perfect, but none of us are. I wish I had got to tell her how much she meant to me and how much I loved her. 

She will be missed

Diane made me my one and only afghan, witch is beautiful, she said it was the last one she was able to do. That was just about 6 months ago.  I wanted so much to give her a big hug! She was a very thoughtful lady,gonna miss her.

We had some bad times as people and family do….. but we sure had some good ones too.!!!  You will be missed and never forgotten.   I’ll always consider myself a part of your family. 

 I  ask for strength for her immediate family as I know they are in need.

Diane Madeline Dawson, 61, of Pleasantville Kentucky passed away on May 9th, 2023. She was born on April 17th, 1962 in Wilmington Delaware to Harry Earl Waltman and Judy Sedillo, both of whom preceded her in death.

Diane, also known as Diana, is survived by her estranged husband Perry Dawson, her oldest son Larry Waltman, wife Zinda Waltman and their children; Larry Waltman Jr., Devon Waltman, Brandy Lockridge, Lyric Waltman, Nirvana Waltman, Achilles Waltman, Carrie Condra and her children Cameron Hackney, Keenan Crowder, and Annie Crowder, Frances Trautwein and husband Dwayne Trautwein and their children Zack Trautwein, Cade Trautwein, Haley Thompson, Jacob Trautwein, Isabella Trautwein, and Donald Malin and his children Karma Malin, and Aries Malin.

Diane was known for her talent in crocheting Afghans. She spent most of her time perfecting her craft and creating beautiful pieces of art. Her family and friends will always remember her for her dedication to her hobby.

A private funeral service will be held for the family. Diane will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
