Diane was class all the way. I always said she reminded me of the movie star Katharine Hepburn with her beauty and mannerism. She taught me friends are only a phone call away and we always had one another to lean on especially during hurricane season. Yes, my friend you are missed and I will always pray that light shall always shine upon you and your soul rests in eternal peace.

Diane was a friend like no other. I met Diane 9 yrs ago when she was my ‘across the pond’ neighbor in PSL, FL. We would enjoy a lunch out now and then and she would invite me to join her for coffee or tea on her lovely back patio, with her two adorable puppies at our feet. She had such interesting stories to share and it was obvious she had lived a fulfilling life and had many accomplishments. I was impressed with her Poshmark business, even though I couldn’t even dream of fitting into the size 6 clothing she displayed so tastefully and artistically. When we moved several years later we continued to stay in touch. As more health issues developed we had long conversations mainly over the phone. I always appreciated her sense of humor and no matter what was going on in her life, she could make me laugh. I’ll never forget one evening when we were waiting in the ER for several hrs. She was in dire straits, but managed to blurt out something so funny and we both got the giggles and couldn’t stop laughing. She made the sun shine on a cloudy day. We shared many family pictures and stories about our grandchildren, the highlight of her life. How proud she was of all of the family, and rightly so. I already miss Diane and she will forever be in my memory and in my heart. Prayers go out for her daughter and lovely family who she loved so very much.
