My condolences to Diana's family, although tardy. I first met Diana when she was  president of the teachers' union, and we became friends and worked together on union issues and activities. She was an excellent teacher and provided much needed leadership in our union. Today, February 27, 2023, I heard about her passing from some of my retired teacher friends, and I was shocked. I had no idea. She was a wonderful person.

Oh my God I’ve been texting Diana for the last week- I am in complete shock. I got scared when I didn’t hear from her for my birthday on 11/1… then I texted her all week. I am devastated- we have known each other since we were 3 years old and even though Di and family moved to CA  we kept in touch. I am so very sorry… Adam please send me your grandparents address ok?

Diana and you all are in my thoughts and prayers

I am so shocked at the loss of this wonderful lady.   I was the Administrative Secretary at Marchus School while Diana worked as a Teacher there.  She was always so remarkable and dedicated to her work with students.  She will definitely be missed by all. I enjoyed working with Diana!
Deepest sympathies to all parents and family. Her unexpected death is a shock and loss to us all. I was the school nurse for the Marchus CCCOE program for many years, and I worked closely with Diana. Her dedication to her teaching profession, both students and COE staff, was remarkable, as was her independent and adventurous spirit. A sparkling light has departed our world.

I so appreciated collaborating w Diana while she worked at Deer Valley High.  Her energy and sense of humor helped make day to day challenges a lot more fun for everyone.  I’m glad to hear she enjoyed her time away traveling and enjoying her friends and family.
