Diana Myers, 61, of Atlanta, GA, passed away on February 20, 2023 after a 2 year battle with cancer. 

Diana was born on June 12th, 1960 to Gertrude and Herbert Myers. After attending at Plainfield High School, she went on to become a community organizer in the Forth Ward of Atlanta, Georgia for many years. In 1999 she met Vincent Griffin. When Diana had her first and only child Venus, she decided to become wonderful mother. Diana excelled at propping up members of her family and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. Whether it was supporting her daughter and grandchildren, she made it her mission to improve the lives of others.

Diana was a passionate and soulful singer when she wasn’t filling her home with warmth and kindness, she could be found at home, watching her stories. We will miss her greatly.

Diana was predeceased by her father Herbert Myers and two older sister Denise and Francine Myers. She is survived by her mother Gertrude Myers, sister Lisa Lofton, brother Herbert Myers Jr., daughter Venus Anderson and four grandchildren, Noah Layla, Denise, and Michael Anderson. The family requests that all flowers and notes are sent to Willie Watkins Historic Funeral Home in the West End of Atlanta, Ga, 1003 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd. There will be a celebration of life at 3pm on March 4th, 2023.
