Memorial Mass and Celebration of Life
Diana Lynn LePore
April 3, 1948 – August 28, 2025
⸻
On August 28, 2025, our sister, aunt, and friend Diana Lynn LePore passed away at the age of 77. While we are deeply saddened by her loss, we want to remember her the way she lived—surrounded by family, friends, laughter, and love. To honor her, we will gather for a Memorial Mass followed by a Celebration Luncheon, and all who knew her are welcome to attend.

Her Life
Diana was born on April 3, 1948, in New York City to Angelina and the late Peter Anthony LePore. She grew up with a strong sense of family, faith, and community—values she carried with her all her life.
She dedicated more than 40 years to teaching after earning her bachelor’s degree from Paterson State College (now William Paterson University) and a master’s from Marygrove College. To her many students, she wasn’t just a teacher, but a guide, mentor, and friend who made a difference that will be remembered for generations.
Diana loved the simple joys of life—bowling with her league, playing tennis, square dancing with friends, and especially taking long walks that gave her peace and reflection. But above all, family meant everything to her. She cherished every gathering, every laugh, and every moment spent with the people she loved most.
Her Family
She is survived by her mother, Angelina LePore; her brother, Anthony LePore, and his wife, Renee; and her sister, Maria Benz, and her husband, Rick.
She was the proud and devoted aunt to:
• Adrienne DeWeerd and her husband, Cody
• Peter LePore and his wife, Erin
• Jason Benz and his wife, Kelly
• Christopher LePore and his wife, Elizabeth
• Ryan Benz and his partner, Maghee
She also leaves behind many great-nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will forever hold her memory close.
