We can never express the wonderful reunion we had with Diana many years ago... her generosity, beauty, laughter, humor, and kindness. She welcomed us into her lovely home and we had a memorable few days...laughing, eating, sampling wines, walking along the coast.  We were in touch long before we met and stayed in communication on email. I will always remember her lovely short stories (which I hope to see published someday!) and insightful comments (maybe not to be published!).  I only wish we had lived nearer and danced together. What a loss for all of us who loved her. A legend, indeed.  My husband (Augie Martin) was Diana's cousin and I was a fortunate friend.

I was heartbroken to hear of the passing of SUCH a legend, who co-created and nurtured two incredible humans—Tanith and family, sending you all love and hugs.
I first met Diane in the 8th grade at Burbank Junior High School; she was my first love, and I can still recall our first kiss. I envision her soul dancing in a better place, never to be forgotten.

What a wonderful tribute to Diana.  She was a very special and creative friend throughout high school.  She will be missed.
Beautifully written...so Diana.  Having known her since the 3rd grade...that's over 70 years...it doesn't seem possible she is not on this earth with us.  However, such a life well lived has never been more appropriately stated for a person.  Sending love and hugs to her family and friends.
Such a lovely tribute to an interesting and well-lived life. My condolences to the entire family.
