With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Dexter Rankin, a remarkable and cherished man, who graced this earth from September 20, 1965, until January 25, 2025. Dexter's life was a journey marked by resilience, perseverance, and admirable devotion to his family and work.

Those who knew Dexter admired his tenacity and amiable spirit. His legacies will always be alive through the family he dearly loved. Dexter's memories will continue to live in the hearts of those who survive him, including his beloved wife, Andrea Rankin, his loving daughters, Andrea Brooks and Ashley Spidell, and his dutiful son, Darryl Rankin. Their shared memories with Dexter will remain precious throughout their lives.

Dexter's mother, Celestine Rankin, also survives him. She brought him into this world and nurtured him with love and tenderness that Dexter would later manifest in his own family. Dexter's father, Herbert Rankin Sr., and brother, Dana Rankin Sr., predeceased him and we hope they welcome him with open arms in the heavenly abode.

The memory of Dexter Rankin will forever remain a beacon of love, resilience, and steadfastness for his family and those who had the pleasure of knowing him. May his soul find eternal peace and may he continue to inspire his family from the heavens above.
