Devin Joseph Holmes, 14, died unexpectedly at home in Sharon on Thursday, October 6, 2022.

Devin was born February 27, 2008, in Lebanon, NH a son of David and Margot Holmes. He lived in Sharon all of his life, where he attended Sharon Elementary School and The Sharon Academy.

Devin was a particularly caring and empathic person with a wonderful sense of humor. He loved everyone that surrounded him and easily made friends with people of all backgrounds and ages. Devin had a curious mind and was eager to learn new things.

Devin loved all things circus and was a talented juggler. He enjoyed music, especially playing the piano, and also enjoyed mountain biking.

Devin is survived by his parents, David and Margot Holmes, sister, Leah Alexis Holmes, and brother, Benjamin Arthur Holmes all of Sharon; grandparents, Arthur and Christine Holmes of South Royalton and Judy Stern and Richard Griffith of Clarendon, VT; aunts and uncles, Denise and Jonathan Rundle of Waterbury Center, VT, Lindsay Coker and Edy Figueroa of Hanover, NH, Keith Coker of Sarasota, FL and Adam and Chelsea Hadlock of Sharon.

A memorial service will be held at Strafford Unitarian Universalist Church in South Strafford at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday, October 15th. Reception held after at Barrett Memorial Hall.
