I remember coming to the N. Pflugerville congregation in 2017. Sister Williams befriend me right away. So warm and beautiful inside and out. I loved her right away. My deepest sympathy to her family, especially my sweet Della. Sister Edith Foushee
Sister Desiree Williams was always a joy to be around and a spiritual mom/grandmother to many. When I first met Sister Williams it felt like we had known each other for years. She was always encouraging and shared a lot of wisdom and by the end of the conversation she would leave you in laughter. Even on days she wasn’t feeling well by her smile you will never know unless you asked her. I enjoyed working out in service with her and Brother Bill Williams because between the two of them they would keep service interesting with added laughter. Sister Williams continued to put Jehovah first no matter what. In August 2017 we took a trip to tour Bethel in New York with the Williams/Pennie Family and I enjoyed have them in our group to share spiritual experiences. May Jehovah continue to comfort Williams/Pennie Family. Sister Williams always had a welcoming smile and will truly be missed.

Please, Bill, Dallaresse and Clarence Pennie, Denise, and Sharee accept our sincere condolences. Desiree was a spiritual mother to me and my wife; she’ll be truly missed by us. We regret not seeing her before she fell asleep in death, but the story doesn’t end here, thanks to our God Jehovah we’ll see her beautiful smile again. Our hearts and prayers are with you Bill, as you make the adjustment in your life without your partner; but Jehovah got you covered. Let’s stay in touch.

I am so very sad for the loss of Auntie Desi. But I know she is resting safe with our God. I am the most sorry for all of you that had the pleasure of her beauty around you often. I pray Jehovah sustain you until he gently awakens his friend. Love you all.

Desiree and Bill, would work quite a bit in the Arabic-Ministry, not too very long ago. My dear Sister would clutch on to my arm , and pull me along! I said Sister Williams maybe we need to slow down a bit, because if not we both are going to end up on this pavement. We both laughed, and she said ' you got that right'! Such a zealous Sister for the Ministry!

To Desiree’s family, may Jehovah comfort all of you! I’m very saddened for the loss of our dearly loved mother and sister. She was a wonderful example of love and strong faith for our God Jehovah. Though, deeply saddened of losing her; i am forever grateful of knowing her. We will see her soon in the New world soon to come ;when she will never have to part again. May Jehovah help all us to remain strong ! Much love ~Naomi A

We miss Desiree so very much. She was so loved and so precious to us all. Her love and zeal for Jehovah was an encouragement and still has a huge impact on us . She and Bill helped us to progress to baptism, watched us grow and our children grow. Although our hearts are heavy, we are comforted by the promise of embracing her again. We know that Jehovah will continue to lovingly comfort you all. It won’t be too much longer before we see her beautiful smile again. We love you all!
One of the most cherished memories that I have of Desiree is her being with my husband and I for the birth of our youngest son. She was one of the first to hold him after he was born. She was so supportive and so happy. I still see the smile on her face from that beautiful day. We’re so thankful and blessed to have that memory!

I had the privilege to share many enjoyable days working with dear Sister Desiree Williams over the course of nearly 5 years. I viewed her as a mentor because she had touched so many lives and brought- in my eyes many people to the truth; working with Jehovah. Which I wanted to learn from her: how she did it?! I think a lot of it was she truly loved and cared for people and they could see it. She loved Jehovah so much and was inspiring to so many of us how Jah kept her going strong. She maintained her sense of humor and patience and kindness all throughout all of the ups and downs she experienced. (Which is hard to do when your going through a lot of pain). She left a legacy of putting Jehovah first and I hope I can learn from her example of strength and faithfulness and courage. She was generous (Gave me a beautiful dress shirt I wore for years) When I would have a good call she rejoiced with me. She was a great friend to everyone she encountered. I think when I see her in paradise she won’t look that much different because she aged so well. 🤗
My sincere condolences to the Williams and Penny family and to all who love Sister Desiree Williams. Desiree was such a strong spiritual lady who by words and deeds showed that she truly loved Jehovah. Every since I met Desiree she has been like a loving Grandmother to me and would always share her wise words of wisdom to me. I will forever cherish the time I was able to spend with such a loving faithful Christian sister. Even when she wasn’t feeling well you couldn’t tell, because when you talked to her you could tell that her complete trust was in Jehovah. I remember when she was not able to come to meetings and Brother Bill Williams (her husband) would say her comments during the meetings. When she was able to return back to the meetings I would tell her how much I enjoyed her comments and how encouraging it was to hear her comments at the meeting even though she couldn’t attend. Her reply has stuck with me since she said it. She said “ that’s the only way I was able to get through it”. Her faithfulness and kind spirit I will for ever cherish until I see her again. I think of 2 Timothy 4:7 when I think of my dear sister. She has fought the fine fight and has ran the race to the finish and is in Jehovah loving memory. Rest, my dear sister and friend untilI I see you again. Which is just around the corner!

-Chad Harris
