I was saddened to read of Desiree’s passing. I don’t think her looks had changed since she was a little kid! I would run into her now and then and she always smiled and greeted me. So sorry for your loss especially her son. May she rest in peace.  God bless, Barbara Boyle

Des, I will remember your smile, laughter and your kind heart. You were always so good to our family and we will be forever grateful. I wish you could have got to experience the rest of your life, the part where there was peace and grandbabies even …. But there’s peace where you’re at now with your dad and God.

I didn’t know her very long . But it didn’t take long to realize the sweetness and generosity she displayed. At work, she’d help all of us without regard for her own deadlines. She was a wonderful woman and it didn’t take long for her to capture my heart. And yes I did fall in love with her.  She made it clear though she was not interested in having a boyfriend any time soon. I respected that and did not bother her with it. While we did have a good relationship, I informed her that “SHE SHOULD TAKE HER TIME———-CAUSE I DON’T MIND——— WAITIN’ ON A WOMAN“   From a song she once relayed to me as to how long I might be waiting for her. 

She wanted to be free and independent. Solve things on her own. She was strong and hardheaded. She knew what she wanted and usually achieved her goals. I helped her when she would let me. I can’t believe or understand why she would be taken so soon. She had gone through a lot of turmoil and deserved much better. I think she was on her way to conquering the bad and starting fresh again. I just didn’t imagine it would be this way. I miss you very much Desi! And I will always love 💗 you sweetie!
