Derrick Morris (Lil Mo) was born on January 16, 1970 In Indianapolis, Indiana.

Derrick accepted Christ into his life at an early age & was a member of Christ Our King Christian Church. Derrick loved music, singing and entertaining his friends & family. Derrick worked as a cook for The Columbia Club and IPS #49 after school program

Derrick attended Indianapolis Public Schools IPS #61 , George Washington & Northwest High School.

Derrick was preceded in death by his Mother: Carolyn Sue Carbin (Omar) Williamson, Father: Norman Harris Sr., Brothers: Caldwell and David Earl Morris.

Derrick went for labor to reward on June 16, 2022, at the age of 52, He leaves to cherish his memory Wife: Marilyn D. Morris his loving Children: India Morris-Glenn (Tremonn), Derrick Morris, Darian Morris and Asia Morris. Six Grandchildren: DonJa’Nae’, Giovanni, Camia, Jeremiah, G’mari and T’Aria. Sister: Michelle R. Tenner, Sister-In-Law: Chantris Morris, Brothers: Norman Harris Jr. and Kevin Perry, Cousin/Brother: Alonzo Thomas, Special Friend-Caregiver & family: Shawn & Courtez Haynes. A host of Aunts, Uncles, Nephews, Nieces, Cousin and Friends.
