It is with extreme sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing away of Derrick Sage Goddard unexpectedly on June 12, 2024 at the age of 25.

Born to Chris and Sherrie Goddard on August 14th 1998,  Derrick was gifted when it came to sports. Winning many titles with his BMX bike, Derrick never lost a match when wrestling, he loved basketball, football and was an avid gamer.  Some of Derrick’s favorite activities were  movies, music, eating good food, buying Nike shoes, and he loved Animals he had a unique bond with all animals, Derrick was kind and gentle with a Beautiful Smile to match his Handsome Face. Derrick was a Hero he saved 3 peoples lives with his Organ Donation. Derrick battled Thyroid Cancer and Fentanyl addiction. Our family was not expecting the loss of Derrick or for his life to be cut so short so soon. We are devastated by this loss and will feel the absence of Derrick forever. He will always be remembered by his Father Chris Goddard, His Mother Sherrie Goddard, His Brothers Bryan Sandquist, Brad Goddard and Christopher Goddard, His Grandparents, many Aunts, Uncles, Neices and Nephews. Derrick's battles are now over and he can rest in peace in Jesus's arms. 

A Celebration of Derrick's life will be held at a later date.
