Derrek Clyde passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025 

Derrek loved sports, especially baseball, college football, and the Detroit red wings. He was a big fan of the University of Michigan and a proud graduate of the university of Missouri. He coached Little League baseball, winning two championships, and also coached basketball at John Glenn High School as well as football. Derrek loved coaching and made a difference in the lives of many children 

He enjoyed country music, especially Kenny Chesney, and was a fan of scary movies and The Office. Derrek also liked to collect old coins and money,  play games like monopoly and backyard sports, and he enjoyed traveling, even taking a trip to Nicaragua 

Derrek legacy is one laughter, dedication, and heart. He will be deeply missed, but his impact lives on in every life he touched
