Derenesha Tashai "Dera" Reynolds June 14, 1997 - March 27, 2017 age 19, of Hoover, AL exchanged time for eternity. Visitations were held from 1-7 PM on Friday, March 31, at Bushelon Funeral Home (800-14th St. S.W.). Services celebrating her life were held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at South Elyton Baptist Church

Dera was such a bright person this my big cuzzo and I called her my sister even when she called me a worse some cousin but I also call kade my brother God took the wrong person from this family but picked the right angel for heavens gates. Dera many people kept telling me its going to be ok but its been 5 years bruh OMG and I still cant get over the fact that your gone everybody misses you. Kade is every drop of you this boy so funny he is 4 YEARS OLD ALREADY!!!! I was diagnosed with depression and its not your fault. I already had things in side of me that I wouldn't let come out. Me and Dera had a bond that NOBODY could break now yes she was mean sometimes but she would apologize (based on what she did or said) im letting out all my emotions to all of you. im still in middle school (7th grade) and I was told that collage wasn't for every body but when I help Dera move into Talladega college I knew I wanted to go then because it looked so cool and she had a nice dorm room. I really look up to her she is a nice person And I used (is) because she isn't dead to me she is still in my heart Dera kade goes to kindergarten in 2 years he's growing up fast (with makes me feel old ) im getting my head together I would love for you to guide Your mom, Kade, uncle Derrek through things. and also I brought my grades up, im getting a summer job, getting mature, and getting my attitude str8 im working on my self to be like you but like my mom says be better than the person you wanna be like. tell Reign and Ryder I said hey but I love u and forever will
