Craig's obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of D. Craig Cobb, who left us on January 3, 2022. Born on May 2, 1950, Craig was a source of love, strength, and wisdom to his family and friends throughout his seventy-one years.

Craig is survived by his beloved wife M. Lenae Cobb, whom he married in 1982. Their bond was a testament that love continues through all storms. He was previously married in 1969 to Beth Howard, embracing the joys and challenges of life side-by-side with his high school sweetheart.

A proud and loving father, Craig is mourned by his children - Christie Gilkeson, Dawnyae Beltran, Leila Beltran, Celisha Drake, Stephen Cobb, Darren Beltran, Jarom Beltran, Matthew Cobb, and Scott Beltran. His love as a father and grandfather was one of his greatest accomplishments, and his love will forever be felt by his descendants.

Craig found his faith in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. His unshakeable faith was a beacon in his life, guiding him in all his actions. He also devoted his time as a volunteer at the Bountiful Community Food Pantry, always striving to give back to his community.

In 1988, Craig started a job at Classic Master Sweeps, demonstrating a strong work ethic and unyielding determination. His earnest, contemplative, and faithful personality left a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Among the many lessons Craig shared, one that resonated most was to "have an attitude of gratitude" and to "find joy in prosperity." This spirit of optimism and gratitude was evident in last days.

We mourn Craig’s loss yet find comfort in the love and wisdom he shared with us. His memory will remain alive in our hearts and minds. While we say goodbye to Craig in body, his spirit continues to inspire and guide us.
