Such a kind heart. Every time you walked up to her table at the SoATL REIA you were greeted with a smile :) DeOnna talked to me about starting a podcast and growing her social media, her business... She definitely went for it and did it! She seemed to enjoy every second of everything she was doing. She is an inspiration :)

Deonna showed up at the Way Down South meeting while I was pregnant with Lillian .... must have made an impression bc she became a vendor! and a lifelong friend.
In response to "How did you first meet DeOnna?"

My condolences to the Britt family. DeOnna and I shared a special bond, she was a faithful member of Union Baptist Church in Stamford CT, she participated in the youth choir, usher board and any and all church activities. She also participated and won Miss Congeniality with Hal Jackson’s talented Teen’s! She and I spent many Sundays together talking and sharing. I will miss my granddaughter very dearly and hearing her say “but Miss Thelma”!!! As she often would say…I’ll see you later! Love always your Grandmother Miss Thelma

I’m so sorry for this loss.. I will cherish all the memories we had, and the fun times. Truly a funny, smart woman.

To DeOnna's family and also our family: We never met DeOnna but our heart goes out to all. Her grandmother, Ella Foreman Britt is our first cousin. We know her father, uncles and aunt. You are in our prayers and definitely in our thoughts and heart. Love you family more than you ever know, (cousins Dianne and Barbara from NC)

This is how I will remember her and one of my favorite times we spent together. She is one of the very few that actually drove all the way to my office (its quite far out) to spend time with me and we recorded podcasts together.
These are the bloopers plus her interview. Honestly, right about this time she was becoming a rising star (early 2020) and I started to see her blossom so much.
Of course, everyone knows in 2021 when she passed the bar she began to rock and roll, but I'm very grateful I have known her even in her early years since late 2015 early 2016 when we met.
I met Deonna when I was pregnant with Lillian. She told me the story -- I couldn't remember (pregnancy brain) so she has seen Lillian grow up also.
I will miss you, Deonna.
