Trudy and Family I just read that My Friend Denny passed away.  My thoughts and Prayers are with You.  I have great memories of the times We spent together. 

My husband and I took the opportunity to sneak to Texas and surprise grandpa and grandma for a visit. Those were days we will hold forever. They were so so happy to have us there and we made as many memories as we could. I loved watching how Grandma and Grandpa Iowa looked at their grandson Clifton, they truly adore him. Grandpa Denny was a rockstar, even facing the nasty C everyday, he found ways to still smile and enjoy the time he had left on this Earth. His smile lit up a room.  As his body declined, he still had his youthful soul. I loved that. I didn't get to know grandpa Iowa for too many years but the time I did, I am forever grateful to be his granddaughter in law.  We Love you Grandpa Iowa. Dana, Clifton, Thomas.  P.S. Denny was our neighbor for the last 2 years and was always smiling. He never complained about anything. He made me smile with his joy for life. I appreciated him and Trudy attending my son's funeral even though he was in pain. I will miss him.
