We remember fondly our time in the Army serving with Danny and his family. Our heartfelt condolences to the family.

I was very sorry to hear of Denny’s passing. My dear friend Tim told me many good stories about his brother. I wish I could be there to share hugs and prayers.

Denny was always a complete joy to talk with and I absolutely loved never knowing what piece of advice or story was coming, but I never tired of his greeting “Good Scouting Day!” 💚Having Denny’s presence throughout our Eagle Scout son Drew’s Scouting journey and beyond has been a true gift. Thanks for sharing your dad with us- he was a true gem and will be greatly missed.

When his casket is carried into and out of the church, the command should be, “Prepare to take weight.” I can’t count the number of times Denny said that when we were portaging the canoes on the C&O Canal. I really miss him.
