Nick and Amy,

What a beautiful tribute to your father.  We are both saddened by the loss of your father and want to express our sincerest condolences to you and your family.  Wishing you all peace and comfort during this difficult time and know of our love and support to you both.  Love, Uncle Dan and Aunt Gretchen

Greetings, I worked with Dennis for a number of years at May Institute. Each morning I would wait in the parking lot for Dennis to arrive in time to turn off the alarm and we would start every day with a chat walking into the building. After about a week, I said to my boss, he is not from here, is he? He had that California laidback vibe. But what stood out the most is that he overflowed with grace, kindness, and thoughtfulness. And he went out of his way to celebrate the work that staff did here at May. I will always remember him. I am so sad about your loss and grateful that he is not suffering and will find peace. Wishing everyone who loves Dennis peace and comfort.

Dear Debbie, Nick and Mimi!

I am very sad to hear that Dennis passed away last week and am very sorry for your great loss! Even though our shared journey wasn't very long and is more than 25 years ago, I always kept this time in dear memory!

My dad has passed away of cancer seven years ago at a similar age than Dennis, so I know how it is when someone goes to early, no matter the circumstances.

As far as I can tell, you have great family and friends to support you, nevertheless, I wish you all the needed strength for the coming weeks and month. Be insured I will be thinking of you...

Take good care!

Much love, Iris

(still, sometimes "the virus":-)

What an incredibly lovely memorial to your dad, Nick and Amelia.  I wish your father could have seen it!

I will miss Dennis very much.  He was always so helpful and knowledgeable. You couldn't ask for a better traveling companion or a better brother-in-law!  I loved his sense of humor and his quiet style of trustworthy command.  I love him and will always remember him with great fondness.

I am genuinely sorry for your tremendous loss.
