Personal note

Dear Family and Friends,
As we remember the 1 year passing of Dennis on Thursday, April 25, Natalie, Brian and Ryan would like to provide everyone an update regarding the Great Ash Spread Adventure. In lieu of a funeral, Dennis's wish was to spread his ashes - one shot glass full at a time - in locations around the world where he traveled, vacationed, and created memories with family and friends.
Before his passing, Dennis made a list of places he would like his ashes to be spread around the world. The Ash Adventure is an undertaking that will span the course of years to come as the list is impressive.
Bringing people together was one of his gifts, and this adventure will continue his legacy. As each Ash spreading event approaches, details will be posted on this website. We would like to thank everyone for their generous contributions, making funds available to assist family and other loved ones to the locations to carry out Dennis's wishes. Again, we thank everyone that contributed to the Ash Spread fund, everybody that came to the ash spreads this past year, and want to welcome one and all to please join us for future gatherings.
Ash Spread Update: We encourage anybody and everybody to join, please reach out.

Update from June 23, 2024

Great Ash Spread, Mackinaw Island, July 1st, 2024
Hello Everyone, we would like to welcome you to join us for the next ash spread at a place that was very special to Dennis. As some of you know, he spent a summer living/working on Mackinaw Island and was an extra in the film "Somewhere in Time". He sat behind Christopher Reeve in the theater scene and you can see him clearly! Dennis wanted to have some of his ashes spread at the Grand Hotel. There is a beautiful rose garden there on the hotel's grounds that will be perfect. After the ash spread, we would love to do one of Dennis's favorite activities - Bar Hop!
Itinerary:
* Meet at the Pink Pony Basement/Outdoor Bar at 3:33PM
* Head out to the Grand Hotel Rose Garden at 4PM (10 minute walk from bar)
* Ash Spread at the Rose Garden
* Bar Hop! Starting at Horn's Gaslight Bar and Restaurant
We also have Dennis's fund to help get anyone there that wants to be there! Reach out to Natalie, Ryan or Pat if you would like to use this.
Please contact us if you are planning on attending. NatalieOstrom15@gmail.com RyanRadosevichMedia@gmail.com
Upcoming Ash Spreads:
* St. Patrick's Day, Chicago River, March 17, 2025
* New York City Ash Spread, Summer of 2025
* Many many more to come over the years!
