With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Dennis James Pugliese, a beloved Father, Grandfather, and friend, who departed from this world on March 12, 2024. He was 79 years old.

Born on April 10, 1944 in Queens, New York, Dennis lived a life characterized by kindness and generosity to all who knew him, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of many.

Whether it was through the work he did at Lighthouse of Pinellas or his unwavering commitment to The American Legion Post 104 he touched countless lives and inspired those around him.

Dennis is survived by Eric Pugliese, Son, Jennifer (Brian) Shaffer, Daughter, Dylan Shaffer, Grandson, and Madeline Shaffer, Granddaughter who will carry his memory forward with love and reverence.

A memorial service to celebrate Dennis's life will be held at a later date.

Rest in peace, Dad. You will be deeply missed, but your memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to have known and loved you.
