Dennis's obituary
Dennis Ray Peters, 80, of Clarkston, WA, went to be with the Lord on April 12, 2026. He was surrounded, by his daughter DeLisa Rae Peters (Jones), his grandson Kevin Moua, and MOON, his beloved Great Pyrenees canine. He was a father, grandfather, great-grandfather, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and a friend.
Dennis was born in Clarkston, WA to Lewis Frank Peters and Elma Lois Stradley (Mosher). He has a sister Carol Peters (Hollenbeck), brother Ray Lewis Peters who passed after birth, and a half-brother Thomas Mosher. He loved the outdoors, riding horses, fixing Chevy vehicles and spending his vacations in San Diego with his daughter DeLisa and 7 grandchildren Duyen, Khoa, Nicole, Kevin, Tifani, Chelsi-Rae, and Mariah.
He also made many long distance trips to Thailand, Laos, Mexico City, Chiapas, Tapachula, and Guatemala with his daughter.
Dennis worked for CCI/ Blount, an ammunition plant in Lewiston, ID as a machinist, supervisor for 43 years. He retired at 59 years old.
Dennis is survived by his children DeLisa Rae Peters (Jones) of Lewiston, ID and Stacey Matthew Peters of Clarkston, WA. Dennis had 2 children, 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren who he loved dearly. Dennis leaves behind his cousin Pete Peters of Clarkston, WA who visited Dennis quite often.
There will be no services at this time. There could possibly be a celebration of life in the future. Dennis has donated his body to science at WSU, for all our future doctors to study.
Dennis will be remembered as the life he defined by precision and his dedication to family and friends. We love you and miss you Dad, grandpa, great-grandpa.
