How can you condense the story of a persons impact on you in a few words. Dennis, Sarah and kids have been a part of our life for 40+ years. What has always stuck with me is what Dennis told me about his philosophy concerning students he would pick. He said high grades were not the biggest part of whether he picked some but the roundness of their interests, that they had more things in their life than pumping out “A”s. Something I agreed with. Dennis was always willing to share his love of fishing with any kid that wanted to join him he also took kids to his lab to introduce them to the rats and to his work. He and I had some interesting debates about politics, I was a Reagan person and he certainly wasn’t, well Dennis I have come full circle and have changed my politics. He will be missed but his struggles are done. A life well lived and devoted to his family and friends with those who touched his life. Leo and Jeanne Lujan
