There are so many things that I’ll remember about my dad including his gigantic hands and that he would always answer the phone no matter the time or day. As a child my favorite past time was driving around with him in his white Toyota truck to different building inspection sites. I would lay my head on his lap and his huge hand would cover my entire head as I fell asleep. He always made me feel safe. As I got older and went to graduate school, I remember calling him way too early the morning before my class presentations so I could rehearse with him. He would walk me through each presentation even while half asleep! My dad was always there, and he will be missed dearly.
