Danny was born on February 8, 1954 in Athens, Ga to the late JC 'Vernon' Williams and Flora Hattie Davis Williams and has 6 brothers and sisters, Gerald Williams Jr., Martha Williams Fowler, Elise Williams Bowen, Freida Williams, Tommy Williams, and Jamie Williams.
