Dennie (Danny) Lee Williams, 67, of Commerce, GA passed away on January 18, 2022 at 6:20 PM. Dennie passed away in the Piedmont Atlanta hospital from Covid-19. Danny was born on February 8, 1954 in Athens, Ga to the late JC 'Vernon' Williams and Flora Hattie Davis Williams and has 6 brothers and sisters, Gerald Williams Jr., Martha Williams Fowler, Elise Williams Bowen, Freida Williams, Tommy Williams, and Jamie Williams. He worked at Alexander Sawmill for 22 years in Arnoldsville, GA and went on to work at Louisiana Pacific Corp. where he retired in 2008.  

Danny's is survived by his 6 children, and their Mothers, Sara Streetman of Danielsville, GA and Jean Williams of Nicholson, GA. Danny's children from oldest to youngest, Dennie Lee Williams Jr. of Bentonville, AR, Christy Renea Williams of Hull, GA, April Renee Williams of Alpharetta, GA, Danny Shane Williams of Nicholson, GA, Jennifer Hope Williams of Nicholson, GA, and Charlene Sabrina Williams of Commerce, GA. He is survived by his sister Martha Williams Fowler, his sister Freida Williams and brother Jamie Williams. Danny has 11 grandchildren.

Danny is predeceased by his son Ronnie Lee Williams, 1983, Father JC Vernon Williams, 1983, his Mother Flora Hattie Davis Williams, 2003, his brother Gerald J. Williams, 2002, sister Elise Williams Bowen, 2020 and brother Tommy Wayne Williams, 2020.

Danny will always be remembered as a kind, hardworking, and caring man to all those who knew him. He loved his children fiercely and would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need. He will be remembered for his humor and his way of always making people laugh. If he picked on you, you know he cared about you. He will be missed a great deal and his children and grandchildren will carry on his legacy of love and kindness.
