Background
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our CEO and Chief Preservationist, Denise Miarecki Stillman. Denise lost her battle with a very rare form of cancer called hepatic endothelial hemangioendothelioma on Wednesday, November 7, 2018. On behalf of our investors, management team and employees, we extend our deepest sympathies to Denise’s family. Denise was an extraordinary woman who brought her unwavering experience, tenacity, energy and more to Go The Distance Baseball when she purchased the Field of Dreams Movie Site from the Lansing family in 2011 and founded this company. Denise has truly touched the lives of everyone she interacted with, and she will forever be missed.
Go The Distance Baseball has lost a visionary and motivated leader with the passing of Denise Stillman. The Team at Go the Distance Baseball would like to honor her memory with a special memorial that will hold a piece of her forever in this sacred place to many. Contribute
