Denise Rae Lloyd Gray, age 62 of Milltown, WI passed away peacefully on January 31, 2025, at Lakeview Hospital in Stillwater, MN with family by her side. A  private celebration of life will be held on Thursday February 6, 2025, at The High Hat in St. Paul from 4:30pm-6:30pm; 485 Selby Ave. St. Paul, MN 55102. Light refreshments will be provided. In leu of flowers, contributions can be made to assist with her final expenses.

Denise was born in St. Paul, MN on May 10, 1962, to Allen Lloyd and the late Sandra Lloyd. She is survived by her 3 children: Matt Gray (Eliza) of St. Paul, MN, Ashlie Battle (Anthony) of Smithfield, NC and Michael Gray (Scotty) of Wilmington, NC, father Allen Lloyd of Inver Grove Heights, MN,  Sister Danielle Lloyd of Inver Grove Heights, MN, 2 grandchildren; Ella and Isaiah Battle and many friends. 

Denise overcame and dealt with many challenges beginning at an early age. Despite the struggles, she found herself giving back to others by working in various healthcare roles throughout her life. She struggled with addiction; however, found sobriety and remained sober for the last 15 years of her life. She was proud of her sobriety and continued to show her resilience throughout her final days. During the last few years of her life, she experienced her first cruise, spent holidays with family and spent her days relaxing and enjoying retirement.
