Sean and Christopher, your mother brought joy to so many throughout her life in church, in the community and through her work as a dietitian. She shared her amazing singing voice at so many weddings and funerals.
This photo of your mother is so true to her spirit as I knew her. I knew Denise when she worked for the WIC Program at the state office and at Valley Health. We had many long heartfelt conversations. She was a sweet and good lady. Denise cared about her clients. She also devoted time planning party games for her coworkers to celebrate their weddings, baby showers and birthdays.
She often spoke of her love for you both and your families, including your wives and children, her grandchildren. She continued to hold close to her heart Hannah and David.
Denise lived her life well. She gave much and received much joy in her giving. I pray for God’s comfort and peace to always surround you and especially at this time of loss. Know that your mother leaves a legacy of love and happy memories with us.

I knew Denise back in our teenage years through our Church of God connections, me in Nitro and her at Trinity. I remember her as a joy to be around. Prayers and condolences to her family who has lost this bright light.

Sean & Chris, We are so sorry to read about your loss of your Mother. We were next door neighbors on 30 th St. I hadn’t seen Denise in years, but have often thought of each of you wondering where you all were living . You all were great neighbors.
Our Prayers for All of You, Bill & Corky

I'm so sorry to hear of her passing, she was a very kind and caring person. I had her for an instructor at Marshall. Later after graduating I would run into her out and about in the community. She was always smiling and enjoying whatever she was doing. She will be missed. She helped shape me for a career in dietetics. I know she had a profound impact on her students.
