My name is Amber Otto...I am a singer/songwriter (artist name Cookie) and when I heard about Denim's tragic accident and story I was instantly devastated for him as well as his friends and family. His story has been heard and received all across the country and to not be affected by it in some way is simply impossible even if you didn't know him or his family personally. I pray and send my condolences to all of his loved ones as well as those who were friends of his. My heart hurts for him and those closest to him. I am elated for him that he got to do what he was most passionate about before leaving this earth, but also grief stricken that one so young was taken.
I've attached a youtube link to a tribute I did in honor of Denim. I chose to record "Just Let it Go" by James Bay as I found a post shared by his father that stated he loved this song. I hope in some small way my rendition and video of Denim along with small appearances of me can bring some peace and healing. His smile was beautiful and I tried to highlight that feature about him throughout the video. I am once again so sorry for your loss. He seemed like such a sweet, bright soul.

I didn't know Denim but my best friend did and he has told me amazing things about denim and I am very sorry anyone had to lose Denim. He will be missed. I am praying for the family and friends.

I wasn't close to Denim but I did know him I went to school with him and thought he would be a part of my life forever and its really sad when I realized I wouldn't have a goofy person like Denim in my life anymore and I'm sorry for his family who had to lose such an amazing person 😭

Yesterday was hard for a lot of people including myself. But you would have loved it all the cowboys and cowgirls in the chaps and spurs the sound of the spurs on the asphalt as we walked behind you and the horse and buggy was amazing sounding you would have love it . I do not know this family personally but I lost my 16 year old son last year and I know the hurt of losing a child .
