We will truly miss Denice. She was such a beautiful woman inside and out. I’ve always know her as someone who will give the shirt off her back to help another. Denice was always there for me as a child growing up riding horses with Sam. I always looked to her as a second mom. I knew if I needed help with anything I could go to her.

Denice you were loved by so many people. I hope you are up above riding the beautiful horses and loving on all the dogs.

I met Denice at a game show about 25 years ago and we had been friends since. I have so many good memories of horse riding and camping at Naselle horse camp, taking our kids to youth rodeos, and making peach jam with fresh peaches picked off our tree and “just hanging out”. I will dearly miss her. ❤️

Denise and I became wonderful friends when she and her family lived in Ridgefield Washington. She and I spent many hours, as she was so patient with me once she helped me get my very first horse. She taught me how to ride and how to take care of Horses… We enjoyed many fun days together with our kiddos as well. I loved and appreciated all of the time she took, and being such a wonderful friend to me and my family.

Countless stories to share of Denice. I’ve known her for 44 years of my life. Think the story that resonates most with me, on a trek to the Garibaldi house when the van caught on fire. While Shelly and I were both young girls and quite afraid, Denice was bold and courageous. I always admire her beauty, courage, strength and will lovingly wear the Knick name she gave me (Dindin). She loved as fierce as her courage and spoke what was on her mind, until we see her again our hearts must be held in the tender arms of Jesus.
