Beloved Daughter, Wife,
Mother, Sister, and Friend
Mrs. Denel Nikkol Dawson Long was born April 13,
1985, to Mr. Bobby Banks and Ms. Fanne Dawson.
Denel was a graduate of Trombly High School, class of
2003, in Detroit, Michigan. She also attended Wayne
Community College and graduated in 2006 in Detroit,
Michigan.
In Denel’s personal life, she was a hard worker. She worked
as a dialysis tech at Fresenius Clinic.
Denel later met the love of her life, Mr. Oscar Long.
Denel gained her wings to be with the Lord on August 11,
2019.
Denel leaves to cherish her memories: a loving and devoted
husband, Oscar Long; mother, Fanne Dawson; father,
Bobby Banks; four children, Ariel Bryonna Dawson,
Amya Maelynn Dawson, Ava Grace Dawson-Long, and
Abel Dave Dawson-Long; brother, Darrion Dawson; one
sister, Dionna Dawson; and many trusted and respected
friends and family
