Deneje's obituary
With heavy hearts and deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Deneje Nicole Watts, who left this world peacefully on July 23, 2025.
Deneje was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew her — an adventure seeker with an infectious spirit, boundless energy, and a heart full of love. She lived her life boldly, embracing every moment with courage, compassion, and a deep care for others that defined her. Whether she was exploring new places, lifting the spirits of those around her, or simply showing up for the people she loved, Deneje was known for her warmth, her laughter, and her ability to make anyone feel seen and valued.
She is lovingly remembered and survived by her parents Patrick Watts Sr., Denise Watts, and Troy Mack; her god parents Isaac Wayman and Lisa Bacigalupo; her siblings Brittany, Alysse, and Patrick Jr.; and her beloved niece and nephews, who brought her endless joy and whom she adored deeply. Deneje’s memory will also live on in her extended family, including her cherished Nanny- Cecelia Blatt, devoted uncles- Frank and Isaac Wayman, and a wide circle of family and friends who were blessed by her presence. She is also survived by her loving boyfriend Matt and his son Jacoby, whom she embraced with open arms and an open heart.
Though her time with us was far too short, Deneje’s legacy of love, resilience, and joy will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Deneje has generously decided to donate her body to medical research. There will not be a service at this time.
The family asks that you honor Deneje by living life fully, loving deeply, and never hesitating to go on the next great adventure.
