Denè was a loving, kind and generous soul, an amazing artist and poet who struggled with addiction and mental health for all of her adult life yet still managed to bring joy and love into so many people's hearts. Dene leaves behind her mother (Mikaela) one child (Penelope McGehee) brothers (Dominic, Michael, Brock, Harold, Eli, and Joseph) and sisters (ShyAnne and Sadale) and numerous extended family.
