Dempsey Guy, 92 of Marianna, FL, passed away on xxxxxx-xx-xxxxx peacefully in Lecanto, Florida.

Dempsey was born on March 10, 1931 to his parents Rev. Daniel N. Guy and Grady Belle Guy in Phenix City, Alabama. Dempsey grew up in Jackson County, Florida and was a life long resident. Dempsey married the girl of his dreams, Tommie Glisson, in _________ and they were married for ______________ years. Dempsey and Tommie were the owners of the Sears store in Chipley, Florida where they served residents of the surrounding areas for many years. Dempsey was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. Dempsey was a long time member of the First United Methodist Church in Marianna, Florida.

Dempsey was predeceased by his wife Tommie Guy, his parents Rev. Daniel N. and Grady Belle Guy, his brothers, Danny, Pal, and Ontee, and sisters Ruth and Edna .

Dempsey is survived by his two sons Dennis Guy, and wife Leslie of Dunnellon, Florida and Greg Guy of Panama City Beach, Florida. Six grandchildren, Ashley Good, Adam Guy, Taylor Bailey, Alli Smith, Elleree Guy and Hayden Guy. And 6 great grandchildren, Chloe Bailey, Hazel Good, Brantly Guy, Corbin Guy, Carson Smith and Emmi Smith.
