Demetrius Cyrus Georgalis, “Cy”, passed away on January 19, 2025, in Plantation, Florida at the age of 83.
Cy was born in Groton, MA, on July 16, 1941, and had two older siblings. His parents, George Georgalis and Pitsa Mantzouranis Georgalis, were immigrants to the U.S. from Karytaina, Greece. He graduated from Fitchburg High School in 1959 and went on to study abroad in Athens, …
