When you were born I studied your face, every little detail. You were so beautiful to me. I remember I couldn't wait to get you home to meet your brothers and sisters. When they seen how tiny and cute you were, they instantly fell in love with you. You loved them too. But you favored your oldest brother (Darwin Jr.) you always wanted him to hold you. When you were growing your first teeth you would use Darwin's chin as a teething ring. Meech if you can hear me I need you to console, and comfort your brother right now to let him know that everything is okay, because he's really hurt over you not being here. He's not himself because he misses you so much. We all miss you and we all love you very much. I am proud of you, even if you didn't feel perfect, you were perfect in my eyes, and I want you to keep rising until the sky knows your name, you're my baby boy and someday we both will have wings and fly high together.

Meechy was no more than four years old at the time. He was sitting on the sofa when I arrived at my sister's place. When he saw me come into the house, he started giggling, boy did that crack me up! I laughed so hard at him because that must have been his seriously giggle. I was looking at a home video with him in it dancing and giggling that same giggle just the other day. It took me back to that day in time. I then said to myself, how.... He's older but the giggling is still the same. Love and memories never die. Thank you Lord!
