We regretfully announce the passing of Delmar Robert Lansing, 45, of Blanding, Utah. Delmar passed away on August 19, 2022, after complications of liver and kidney failure.

Delmar was born to Lester and Marie Lansing on November 22, 1976 in Shiprock, New Mexico. An independent and vibrant personality from the beginning, Delmar loved math and art, he enjoyed running cross country and playing basketball. Delmar graduated from San Juan High School and studied and graduate at College of Eastern Utah, San Juan Campus.  After graduating from CEU-SJC, Del moved to Logan, Utah and studied Forestry at Utah State University and began a working for the Forest Service in Ephraim and Monticello, Utah. Delmar never married and has no children. However, he was a father figure to his nephews and nieces.  Delmar is survived by Lester Lansing Sr, Marie Lansing, Olivia Lansing, Lynella Lansing, Lester Lansing Jr, Sheena Begay, Chelsey Segura, Janane Lansing, and Celeste Lansing  and predeceased by John Norton, Gilbert Norton, Robert Lansing, Mary Lansing, Helen Lansing, Raymond Lansing, Denny Lansing,  and Ruth Lansing.  We will be holding a graveside service at Delmar's family cemetery at Mule Trail Mesa in Aneth, Utah.
