Faye's obituary
Faye was born in Morrilton Arkansas on Sep. 9, 1925 a few minutes before her twin, Ella Maye. Her family moved to the San Joaquin Valley in California when she was 14. The family eventually settled in San Diego where Faye married, raised a family, pursued a career in the aerospace industry and retired, poolside, in El Cajon.
Faye found happiness in her church, family, friends, reading and music. Faye was a performer at heart. She loved to sing. She was an active member in the Washington Old Time Fiddlers Association where she performed regularly until the COVID-19 shutdown.
Faye is survived by her daughter, Sharon; 8 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations to help cover final expenses would be appreciated. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on December 30, 2021 at Oak Harbor Assembly of God located at 319 SW 3rd St. in Oak Harbor.
