Personal note from Kyerra Johnson

Hello Family,

Thank you for visiting this memorial page that we have for our beloved Mother & Grandmother Delcie W. Johnson . Because many of our family members are near and far, this page is being made available for the transparency of the events that will transpire during the planning stages of her memorial. So far, many of you have been contacted and made aware of her final arrangements.

Services are planning to be held on August 22nd at 1:30 pm at Officer Funeral HomeIn East Saint Louis, IL. Due to COVID19, and the decision of her immediate family, a Cremation and Memorial Service will be held. The Memorial Service will be 1 hour long with a maximum capacity of 36 people. The service will be limited to her children and immediate grandchildren and all other seats will be filled according to the compliance of Officer Funeral Home. We do realize that there are a number of family members that will want to attend. There will be a repast location for all family members immediately following the ceremony and mask are required for entry for all services.

We also realize the financial burden that comes with this time and we want to limit that burden as much as possible. Each of her five children will receive an urn of their own. The remaining ashes can be disbursed into a number of ways. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren will have the option to buy a token urn starting at $20 or a pendant at the cost of $45.

I will post a link in the questions and answers that all members of her family may see and choose.
