Delbert's obituary

Delbert Wayne Todd 80 ,born April 10 1937 passed away at home surrounded by loved ones in Idaville Indiana on January 9th 2015.

People who knew Delbert called him Wayne. wayne was a devoted father of 3,and loved his 6 grandchildren very very much.Carol Conarroe,JR Conarroe,Austin Korth,Aaron Korth,Autuim Korth,Loren Todd.Wayne  also loved talking to randy conarroe also.Wayne Was a Hard worker,loyal and an Army combat veteran of the Korean War. Wayne was assigned to the combat engineers in Korea making roads, clearing out hazards and fighting the enemy at the same time. Wayne loved Music and was skilled at playing the guitar. Wayne loved to sing and record his music. His brother roy lee who is passed, loved coming up and visiting Brother Wayne and playing from the heart. wayne loved his childern and loved his grandchildren without question. Wayne was preceeded in death by 4 brothers,and 2 sisters. Wayne was a retiree of Wabash natioanl working at the press table at time of retirement. Wayne also retired from RCA and also worked for the state as a plow operator working the long hours pushing snow in the wintertime.Wayne ,loved to Fish and his favorite spot was norway dam. Catfishing,and bass was what he loved. Just enjoying the peace of the waters.Surviving are Richard haas,Son.of Kokomo Indiana,Sharla Todd Korth,Daughter, Amery Wisconsin, David Todd Son, Clarks Hill Indiana, and 10 grand children and 2 great grand children,Brother clifton of California ,.and many others in Princeston Indiana and madisonville Kentucky.Wayne didnt want a funeral service but chose to be cremated and a celebration of life with immediate family.
