Although Del and I had not spoken in many years, he was always my brother. I thought of him often, and regret not making amends while I could. I am so glad he found happiness in Pennsylvania.

I was Del’s barber for the past 2-3 years and I always enjoyed his presence in my shop. He had great upbeat energy and seemed like he never let any hard times get him down. I enjoyed listening to him talk about his stories of his life and about where all he’s been and wanted to go. By the end of his haircuts he wouldn’t let me spin the chair around to show him his haircut and would always say I cut so good he knows it looks good and if he had to check the cut then he wouldn’t be there. A few days before passing he stopped in and asked if he could bring one of his kitties next time he came in and I agreed that would be no issue at all, I was looking forward to it. He is a client I will miss but forever remember! 

I really feel sad about your goodbye to life, it wasn't expected. You followed your wife's death Paula by one year and you lived a tough life throughout your life.

You helped us in time,  we needed money and you gave it all to us. 

I met you one time and I remember your smile and your  welcoming,  never forget you ❤️

I'm really glad I got to talk to you on the phone right before you crossed over. We had a good talk and a lot of laughs that night. It's like you knew it was coming and were saying your goodbyes. Thank you for doing right by my mom and caring for her in her last days. Me and my family won't forget you. We only wished we had a little more time, and wished you had made it to Florida when you tried. I think of you often. I hope you're at peace now my friend.
